Community Supported Everything (CSX) is a model in which communities actively support and shape the production and distribution of goods and services. It is based on the principle of solidarity and shared commitment to promote a fairer and more sustainable economy. In CSX models, community members contribute financially and/or through collaboration to support projects and in return receive access to the goods and services produced.
Teikei Coffee is a project that works according to the principle of solidarity agriculture, but has been transferred to coffee consumption. In this model, consumers and producers come together to jointly organise and finance the entire coffee production process. Consumers support the coffee farmers financially in advance, giving them planning security and fair working conditions. In return, consumers receive high-quality, sustainably produced coffee beans. This model promotes transparency, direct trade relations and a fair distribution of profits along the entire value chain.
